The Historic Path

Project Image : The Historic Path

This blessed city, which is the first capital of Islam, embraces many prophetic and historical monuments and relics among its valleys, mountains and corridors, creating a historical fragrance that will extend until the end of time, as it was the first mosque built in Islam and one of the Two Holy Mosques, and mosques whose yards are unforgettable, such as the Masjid Al Qiblatayn. It also contains other great landmarks such as Mount Uhud, the Al-Khandaq area, Othman's well, the Sayyid al-Shuhada cemetery and many Prophetic wells Accordingly, the MDA sought to develop a historic path for the purpose of facilitating the movement of pilgrims and visitors between the historic and Islamic sites, by redeveloping and opening these sites, and creating public spaces, paths, and coordinated and gradual activities within an integrated system that enriches the experience of pilgrims and visitors.
